Dear Parents and Guardians,
I would like to express just how excited, but yet humbled, I am to serve as the Principal of Northeastern High School!
I look forward to working together with you, and the great staff at NHS, to ensure that our Scholars receive the best educational experience possible this year. It will take ALL of us working together to make this goal a success!

Just to share a little bit of my background with you:
I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio (Go Buckeyes!!!). I am also a HUGE Pittsburgh Steelers fan!
I am beginning my 19th year in Education this Fall.
I am a retired Navy Veteran after completing 20 years of honorable service. I retired from the Marine Corps Base in Camp Lejuene, NC in August of 2006. Upon retiring, I immediately joined the field of education in the same year and month.
I've served as a Middle School Teacher Assistant, bus driver, football and basketball coach, and CTE Teacher in New Bern, NC.
I served as an Assistant Principal at the elementary and middle school levels. I served as a Principal at an Elementary School in New Bern, NC. I moved here to Elizabeth City in July 2017 to serve as the Principal of River Road Middle School. I served there from 2017-2021.
I've served in Central Office in various positions, and wherever I was needed, to carry out the mission of Elizabeth City Pasquotank Public Schools.
I take the calling of being an educator very serious. Being an educator is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding, opportunities there is to influence young lives in a positive manner.
I am a firm believer in preparing our scholars for the real world, and life. I believe in giving and receiving respect. I am a firm believer in the team concept in every organization.
I look forward to the upcoming school year! I know that, with your support, and all of us working together for the benefit of our scholars, we will continue to make Northeastern High School the very, very best that it WILL be.
